UTCHAT VISION

UTCHAT VISION was founded on April 10, 2000, in Rochester, New York — the Imaging Centre of the World — by filmmaker, producer and media educator Shabaka Collier, also known as Shabaka Mu Ausar.

UTCHAT VISION is a full-service media production temple specializing in professional visual communications, creative production and digital media education.

Our services and training include filmmaking, music video production, commercials, promotional content, podcasting, graphic design, web design, digital media production and more.

In 2026, UTCHAT VISION celebrates its 20th year facilitating the UTCHAT VISION Summer Youth Filmmaking Program, continuing a long-standing commitment to teaching young people how to tell their own stories through filmmaking and digital media.

From professional productions to youth education, UTCHAT VISION is built around creativity, communication, culture and the power of visual storytelling.
